Harold Jones founded Jones Paint & Glass in 1938 with the help of a modest investment from his parents. They believed in Harold’s idea so much that they used their furniture as collateral to take out a small loan to help fund his company.
Now, three quarters of a century later, Jones Paint & Glass thrives, celebrating 75 years of service.
The company has earned their keep in the Intermountain West, flourishing with 7 locations, over 200 employees, and customers who find the company through referrals. Jones Paint & Glass takes pride in the fact that most Jones Paint & Glass customers become repeat customers because of their positive customer service experiences.
Jones Paint & Glass is now run by Harold’s grandson, David Jones, who holds true to Harold’s philosophy of helping the customer from start to finish. Honoring his grandfather’s vision, David passes the commitment of great prices, quality products, and friendly service on to the Jones Paint & Glass family.
To help ensure that every customer receives the best experience possible, Jones Paint & Glass makes up their team with experts in the industry who know the ins and outs of the Jones Paint & Glass products. Most employees have been part of the Jones Paint & Glass family for over a decade.
While the Jones Paint & Glass philosophy stays the same, the brand itself has evolved from a modest one-man-run window company. Now, besides windows and doors, Jones Paint & Glass also offers auto glass repair and replacement, glass tinting, mirrors, and frameless glass showers.
In celebrating 75 years in business, Jones Paint & Glass wants to recognize the people who helped them get there. To our family, friends, neighbors, teams, and our dear customers, thank you for supporting Jones Paint & Glass through 75 years and counting!
To learn more about the Jones Paint & Glass legacy, take a look at this video that Zions Direct did on Jones Paint & Glass in their “Speaking on Business” series:
In September, we were staying in St. George part of a month long road trip. During our time there, we had a very neat experience – while driving back from Zion National Park on I-15, a rock flew into the passenger side of the windshield and left a sizable mark. No, that’s not the good part. My husband, Jim decided we should try to get it fixed before we leave St. George the next day. So instead of going to the Zion Outlet Mall as planned, we stopped at O’Reilly’s Auto Parts Store and asked them if they could recommend a windshield repair place. They suggested Jones Glass & Paint just 5 minutes away. We arrived there and the gentleman said he would fix it for us right away. We got to chatting with him about our travels while he fixed the windshield – he’s quite the salesman for the scenery in Utah After all was done, we asked how much it was and they said: we’d like to give this to you as part of your trip!! Wow, we are overwhelmed!! Thank you Jones Paint & Glass – you really made our day 🙂
